Dominic Na

Cellist, Co-founder, Teaching Artist

Soloist, principal cellist, chamber musician, recording artist, and distinguished teacher Dominic K. Na is an internationally recognized artist and the founding artistic director of the Park Na Conservatory and Young Artist String Camp. He made his remarkable debut with the St. Petersburg Radio Symphony in 1998. He has appeared in concerts, recitals, and festivals throughout the United States, Germany, Austria, Russia, and Korea. Some prestigious concert halls where he performed include the Philharmonia Concert Halls, the Hermitage Museum, Wiener Konzerthaus, Smetana Concert Hall, Beethoven House in Bonn, Incheon Culture and Arts Centre, and Meyerson Symphony Hall.


Dominic studied at the Central Music School for Talented and Gifted Children under the supervision of St. Petersburg State Conservatory, The Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna, Musikhochschule, Southern Methodist University, and the University of North Texas. His distinct performance and teaching are shaped by his diverse experience and studies throughout the world. He was appointed as a cello professor at the University of Arkansas in 2016. He served as the cello principal at the Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra and established his cello ensemble Dolcelli.


Dominic is devoted to his involvement in teaching while expanding his solo and chamber performance and album recordings. He is invited to numerous master classes and lectures in universities and conservatories and continues to dynamically influence young musicians in the generation.
